Shipping and Logistics
Have a set of wheels you want to have engraved, but aren't sure how to get them to us? This section applies only to customers who already own a set of wheels they want to have us engrave.
(If you are buying your wheels from us, then your wheels are already in our possession)

Step 1
Preparing Your Wheels
If your wheels have not yet been mounted and balanced, then it's pretty straightforward. You can go ahead and skip ahead to Step 2.
If your wheels are already mounted and balanced:
- Remove, or have the tire removed from the wheel(s).
- If you are planning on having your wheels powder coated by us, remove your balancing weights, and any adhesive residue.
- It is always advisable to have your wheels re-balanced after they have been engraved, but we only require weight removal when we are also powder coating your wheels.
- Give your wheels a wash to remove any road grime, brake dust, etc.

Step 2
Selecting Your Freight Carrier
While you can ship wheels via commercial package carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc), it is not something we recommend for wheels.
Our recommendation is to ship your wheels via Less-Than-Load (LTL) Freight, on a banded and shrink-wrapped pallet.
Many LTL Freight carriers also offer palletizing services, so all you would need to do is search for a carrier in your area, get your wheels to them, and they will package/secure them for you.
If you need help sourcing a freight carrier, we will be more than happy to help you make those arrangements!

Step 3
Insuring Your Shipment
Equally important as making proper shipping preparations, most, if not all freight carriers offer shipping insurance.
This is something that is generally optional, but it is a choice that we strongly advise you make.

Step 4
Wait!
Once we receive your wheels, they will be inspected for any damage.
You will receive a notification once the initial intake step has been completed, and if everything appears good to go, we will move your wheels into our processing queue, and get to work!
