Full Wrap Wheel Laser Engraving (Service Only)

Customer Provided Wheels must meet the following eligibility requirements in order to be processed by Laser My Rims:

Material:

• Aluminum Forged
• Alloy
• Mag

Finish:

• Polished (Aluminum/Alloy)
• Powder Coated

Size:

• 20" diameter and larger

Wheel types ineligible for laser engraving servicing:

• Steel wheels
• Chrome Dipped

Requirements are subject to change, and will be updated appropriately.

Best practice for laser engraving wheels with an end-to-end seamless design is to have a spare wheel on hand that is the same make and model as the wheels that are going into production.

A spare mockup wheel serves as a pre-production verification, or mockup of the shoot, in order to achieve a "seamless design" in the production run. With it, we can mark physical points in the wheel that can tell us how the design will align in the production run.

It is not an absolute requirement, as we have processes in place to minimize, or mitigate the likelihood of a visible seam at the start and stop of any seamless wrap design, however, the likelihood of some form of touchup is increased in situations where a spare wheel is not available for this purpose.

Laser My Rims does require a Hold Harmless Agreement to be signed when conducting laser engraving work on Customer Provided Wheels that meet the following criteria:

• Wheels provided are not a brand, make, or model that we offer for sale, or carry.

The customer is responsible for all shipping charges to, and from our facility.

If needed, we can arrange for the pickup and return of your wheels, and pass those charges through to your final invoice.

Laser Engraved designs will have little to no noticeable depth in the wheel material.

There may be no texture at all, or even a slight texture/roughness on the wheel's surface from the laser engraving process.

The laser engraved design is a permanent etching made into the base material.
